The Board of Directors of the Downtown Georgetown BIA is pleased to announce the release of a report called the 2009 Georgetown Central B.I.A. Planning and Research Results commissioned through the RED Grant from the Ontarion Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). Copies of this report are available at the office or in a pdf document by email. Please contact the BIA if you would like to see this report.

Renaissance Woman – Ruth and Neil Young are pleased to announce the opening of Renaissance Woman, a unique boutique located in Young’s Pharmacy & Homecare on Main Street in Downtown Georgetown. The elegant new boutique is a comfortable discrete space that specializes in fashion and post-mastectomy apparel, products and services. Renaissance Woman’s extensive offerings include wigs, hats, scarves, lingerie, swimsuits, sun protective clothing, compression garments, cosmetics and giftware as well as post-mastectomy prostheses. Although the main focus of the boutique is assisting women during chemotherapy and post-mastectomy there are products and assistance for others as well. Renaissance Woman also offers fashionable apparel for all women and unique assistance for those with “hard to fit” figures.

Welcome to all of the businesses in the new boundaries of the Downtown Georgetown BIA! The Boundaries of the Downtown Georgetown BIA are now in alignment with the Town of Halton Hills’ Official Plan (see Schedule A4 of the Official Plan). The BIA will be collecting names of businesses, emails and information to add to our website. If you know of a business within the new boundary, please forward this email and ask them to send their information to the BIA.
