CHANGES IN DOWNTOWN:
Georgetown Driver and Vehicle License Office will be closing on July 29 after 60 years in Downtown Georgetown. Dave Clark, who has operated the Georgetown Driver Vehicle Licence Issuing Office since 1983, took over the business from his mother Beatrice Clark who opened the Georgetown office in 1950. Service Ontario will open their doors at 324 Guelph Street and will provide licensing services, along with other services such as a Commissioner of Oaths. On behalf of the members of the Downtown Georgetown BIA we would like to thank Dave and his family for all the years of good service to Halton Hills and especially to Downtown Georgetown.
Congratulations to the CIBC in celebrating their 135 anniversary of service in Downtown Georgetown. Check out the CIBC’s webpage on this website for more history!

Here we grow! On Monday April 26, the Council of the Town of Halton Hills approved the Boundary Expansion for the Downtown Georgetown BIA. The new boundaries now align with the Town of Halton Hills Official Plan Schedule A4 (http://www.haltonhills.ca/planning/pdf/official-plan/op-Schedule_A04-GeoDT.pdf – the dotted line). The Georgetown BIA board did request and was granted through the Bylaw that the levy to the new members be phased in over 3 years. The BIA will be adding all of the new businesses to our website as well as getting communications information from our new members. Welcome!!!
