Moments in History
The building stands on the site of Elijah Travis’ Mill which was in operation from 1840. The lot was purchased by the Creelman Brothers in 1881 who erected a factory building which also housed the office of the Georgetown Herald. Past owners included Morris Kennedy, Elijah Travis, H.P. Lawson and J.B. Mackenzie.
