About Your Health Department
The Halton Region Heath Department offers a complete range of public health programs designed to:

- prevent cancer, substance abuse, tabacco use and injuries
- protect our community from communicable and infectious disease and environmental hazards such as contaminated food and water.

Most of these services are free of charge
Moments in History
The building occupies the site of J. Wilson Funeral Parlor and furniture store. Mr. McCullough’s furniture store operated from this location in the early 1900’s. The store was taken over by Jack Gougeon and operated until the early 1980’s.
