Moments in History
The building occupies Lot 10 of the George Kennedy 1857 Survey Plan. A map of Georgetown shows two structures present on the lot in 1854. the existing building housed the first office of the Georgetown Branch of the Bank of Hamilton opened in 1875. The bank relocated in 1890 and the building became the home and office of Dr. C.V. Williams until he retired from practice in 1970.
