The holidays are right around the corner! To usher you into the holiday shopping season, a selection of unique vendors - including some of your favorites from the popular Georgetown Farmers Market - will be selling a variety of holiday and festive wares. Downtown businesses will also be open to provide everything else you'll need for the holiday season. 

This year's Holiday Market will take place over four Saturdays: November 20, 27, December 4 and 11. The event location will be on Church Street (between Market Street and Main Street South) and in the Church Street Parking Lot (intersection of Church Street and Main Street South) on November 20, 27 and December 4. On December 11, the event will take place on Main Street South (between Church Street and James Street) and in the Church Street Parking Lot. Each market date opens at 11:00 A.M. and closes at 4:00 P.M.

Special features for each market date!

Saturday, November 20th: A live demo from Rich, of Festive Ice Sculptures! He will be located by the Memorial "metallic" tree on Main Street South. Watch him carve out a beautiful ice sculpture right before your eyes! The Town will be hosting Neighbourhood Pop-Ups in the Cultural Centre Plaza. These Pop-Ups will run 12:00 - 3:00 P.M. On this day: Giant yard games, holiday music, recreational equipment, “Winter neighbourhood” scavenger hunt.

Saturday, December 11th: We bring back our annual holiday activity - horse and wagon ride through the Downtown! Sit in our 20-person wagon and admire the holiday lights, decor and storefront displays and see if you can spot Santa roaming around the Downtown! Be sure to take your letter for Santa to the Georgetown Library or Young's Pharmacy and put it in Santa's mailboxes!
