‘Tis the season to join us Downtown for the Georgetown Holiday Market!

On  Saturday December 10th from 11:00am to 3:00pm, bundle up and head to Main Street for all your holiday needs. Featuring handmade crafts, locally grown produce and freshly made foods, the market has all you need to get your holiday season going. Your perfect holiday gifts can also be found inside our amazing BIA businesses too! This event is family-friendly and includes some exciting entertainment and activities for all ages.

All aboard!! On December 10th at the Holiday Market, catch the holiday train to take you all around Downtown Georgetown! Find Santa and his team in Downtown Georgetown and take some family photos with him. Shoot for the goal with Top Shot Hockey, and their amazing hockey themed games in the Church Street Parking Lot. Bring your ice skates and try out the ice rink! More surprises, family fun and holiday magic to come!

Downtown businesses and Town facilities also having many things to offer! Including:

  • Lemon Drop Interior Design & Renovations (3 Wesleyan Street): Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate for all shoppers, and candy canes for the kids!
  • The Hooded Goblin (30 Main Street South): 15% discount off everything in the store on these two market dates! As well, they have Pokemon school every Saturday from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
  • Trendos Interiors (27 Main Street South): Complimentary cookies and Christmas treats in store, plus 15% off the entire store on both market dates!
  • Coldwell Banker Fieldstone Realty Brokerage (14 Wesleyan Street): Stop in for a chance to win their raffle, enjoy complimentary apple cider, and there is a "Snowman Soup" recipe and ingredients giveaway for the kids. 
  • Young's Pharmacy and Homecare (47 Main Street South): 20% off all tree ornaments including Hallmark Keepsakes, 20% off all clothing and accessories  and don't forget to stop in and mail your letter to Santa in our special North Pole Mail Box!
  • Caldwell Securities Ltd. (67 Main Street South): Saturday December 3 and December 10 from 11-1 Caldwell Georgetown is welcoming people to stop in and leave some non-perishable food items which we will forward onto Georgetown’s Bread Basket. You will be entertained by Georgetown’s own Matt Powell, keyboard master, playing Christmas songs for your enjoyment. There will be complimentary hot chocolate, a small confection for your sweet tooth and a Caldwell Shopping bag. If you are able please stop in and drop off  a food item for some of our neighbours. We are happy to be working with Sarah Appleby at Remax on this initiative.
  • Georgetown branch of Halton Hills Public Library (9 Church Street): So many wonderful holiday offerings for fun and activities, the list is long! Click here to find out more.

We are also running a Holiday Storefront Display Contest! From Saturday, December 3, until Saturday, December 10, 11:59 P.M., please vote for your favourite Holiday Storefront Display in Downtown Georgetown. Voters will be asked to take a photo of their favourite display and share it as a post or story and tag us on Instagram @downtowngeorgetown as well as the business, to be included in the random draw to win a holiday basket made up of goodies from Downtown businesses. Voters will also have an opportunity to vote at the BIA tent at the Holiday Market, on both dates. The winning storefront will receive $250 of BIA gift cards from Carpet Barn Carpet One (26 Guelph Street).
