The Town of Halton Hills is inviting you to participate in the upcoming Go Green event!  Halton Hills declared a climate emergency in 2019 and we are working on the goal to become a net-zero community by 2030 by reducing greenhouse gases. As a valued business in the community, we recognize your efforts in contributing to achieving this goal and are inviting you to set up a booth to participate in the free public Go Green event!   

Highlights include:

  • Free test drives of electric vehicles by Plug’n Drive
  • Owners of electric vehicles will be available to answer questions
  • Environmental groups that promote hiking, walking and trails  
  • Businesses showcasing energy efficiency and renewable products for home energy retrofits 
  • Businesses showcasing bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and other products that support active transportation
  • Halton Hills Public Library and Cultural Centre tours showcasing energy and water efficiency features

Event Details: As a participant in the Green Business Section, we are looking for businesses that would like to bring a 10 by 10 tent, table, chairs, and be able to speak with residents about your green business.   

Date: Saturday, October 1, 2022

Set up Time: 7:30 am, 

Event Time: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Location: outside of the Halton Hills Public Library, 9 Church St., Georgetown    

(Street closure: Church St. between Market St. and Main St., Main St. between Church St. and Park Ave.)
