Bike It is Back!
We’re so excited to announce that Bike It to The Market has returned! This year, Bike It will be held on Saturday, June 18, from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Participants will be treated to a free pancake breakfast hosted by the Georgetown Rotary Club!
This is a free event for riders of all ages from all parts of the town, making their way to the Georgetown Farmers’ Market by whatever route they choose. Main Street South will be closed to vehicular trafficfrom the Farmer’s Market to Maple Avenue to ensure safety and enjoyment for all ages. Free valet bike parking will be available in the parking lot at the intersection of Main Street South and Church Street.
Breakfast
Once again, the Georgetown Rotary Club will be giving out a free breakfast to anyone who bikes to the Farmers’ Market. Breakfast can also be purchased by non-cyclists. Donations to the Rotary Club are also welcome. Participants can leave their bikes parked while they enjoy visiting Downtown Georgetown businesses and the Georgetown Farmers’ Market.
Activities
What could make Bike It to The Market any better? Free, fun activities for all ages, courtesy of the Town ofHalton Hills and Halton Hills Public Library. Join us from 9 AM to 10 AM for Zumba for all ages. From 10 AM to 11 AM, experience “The Legend of Marshmallow Island” with Mystic Drumz. You can also explore the various stalls found at the Farmers' Market.
