Heather Meneses (B.Sc, C.Ac, D.TCM, C.C.Ac)

This is a Traditional Chinese Medical clinic that offers services in traditional Acupuncture, Chinese Tuina massage and scraping (Guasha), Cosmetic and Cellulite Acupuncture, Facial Rejuvenation, KHT, TCM consultations, needle-less acupuncture, and classes in Qigong, for all ages.
Many insurance agencies include Acupuncture in their benefits coverage.

Traditional Acupuncture:
Based in the philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), every person is treated as a unique individual. The course of treatment and points used are chosen carefully and specifically to match each person’s present state of health and their desired health care goals. Sessions may also include more than one form of treatment in order to achieve the desired balance within the body. Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of symptoms and imbalances, from physical injuries and discomfort (such as frozen shoulder, sciatic pain, trauma and injuries, headaches, swelling and oedema), to internal physiological imbalances that often lead to symptoms such as stress, indigestion, insomnia, lack of energy, a restless or unsettled mind, or depression.

Skin Rejuvenation Specialty Clinic:
Treating wrinkles, cellulite, anti-ageing, & acne. Once one of the hidden secrets of the elite families in China, the use of Acupuncture and nourishing herbs to re-balance and rejuvenate the skin from the inside out is spreading now throughout the western world. By using ultra-fine needles, we are able to stimulate the natural production of collagen under the skin to lift fine lines and wrinkles, and to improve circulation throughout the skin, revitalizing skin-tone and restoring it’s vibrant and youthful qualities. Similar procedures can also be used to repair damaged cell structure under the skin, lifting and reducing the appearance of cellulite. Topical herbs and massage programs can also be custom designed for each individual to aid in each form of rejuvenation process.

Acne is regarded in TCM to be an imbalance within the body. With a combination of Traditional Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, and diet recommendations, we can alleviate the appearance of acne and re-balance the body to reduce the recurrence of acne in the future.

Qigong Classes:
Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing exercise that synchronizes the mind, breath, proper posture, and movement, to achieve full body health and longevity. Heather Meneses is a certified instructor of Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong (RLWQ), the only style of Qigong developed specifically with the female body in mind. RWLQ helps to balance the unique stresses and changes that the female body faces through every stage of life. An example of some of the benefits experienced by women include a decrease in PMS and menopausal symptoms, improved digestion, better mental concentration, and a break up of cancerous tissues and cells throughout the body.

Classes are small in size and presented in a fun, loving and nurturing environment. Class sessions run for 6-8 weeks. Due to the content, classes are only open to women.
