Caldwell Financial Ltd. – Independent Investment Advisors “building clients a financial road map and tailoring investments to each situation”

Caldwell Financial Ltd. (Caldwell) is pleased to serve a wide geographical area in South Western Ontario from our office at 67 Main St. S. Georgetown with Investment Advisors, Ted Flanagan and David Robart-Morgan.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 4:30PM but we are available by appointment to serve our client's convenience.

Caldwell and its team have managed significant financial assets for families, individuals, corporations, trusts and foundations since 1980.

To reduce risk, our investment style emphasizes investments in major corporations and debt instruments comprised solely of government bonds and treasury notes.

Our investment, insurance, family office, financial planning, estate and foundation management services are based on trust and professionalism.

David commenced working in the financial business in 1969 in Winnipeg and has been part of the development of the investment community ever since. Now a resident of Erin, David has always been active in his local community.

Ted has been in the financial industry since the year 2000. He believes in building clients a financial road map and tailoring investments to each situation.

Both Ted and David look forward to working with new clients in their own neighbourhood.

The building was originally constructed in 1890. It replaced an earlier wood frame construction belonging to Mr. D. R. Warren and A. C. McKinely which was destroyed by fire in December of 1889. Prior to the fire the building housed: J.A. Watson's Grocery, J.A. Glass, Merchant and Tailor, Hanna Shoe Shop, and F.F. Short’s Barber Shop.

The replacement stone building has been home to The Georgetown Herald newspaper circa 1898 and its longest occupant was Henry Helfant who had his men's wear store here for 54 years after he emigrated to Canada from Belgium in 1946. He had served in the underground movement against the Nazis in WWII. There is a commemorative plaque on the building dedicated to Mr. Helfant's memory. Today Caldwell Financial Ltd. occupies the space.
